Hello! As a highly skilled and creative UI/UX designer, I possess a unique blend of creative talent, marketing skills, and customer service expertise. I am passionate about designing beautiful user interfaces and solving user problems through empathetic communication, strong analytical skills, and comprehensive research.

I’ve been passionate about design since I was a kid. When I was in elementary school, I used to draw art pieces for my friends and loved watching them happy about what I drew. In my early 20s, I got into the University of North Texas with a marketing degree. While I was working at my parents’ shop, I realized I wanted to learn about marketing to grow their business. However, I found that I had more passion for design and decided to switch my major to design and minor in marketing where I could learn both about business and art. 

Previously, I worked as a digital marketer and marketing analyst. I learned how to design effective and impactful social media postings for viewers and sharpened my analyzing skills by learning analyzing tools. I also managed trades between Korean companies and U.S companies by developing and communicating market research and marketing objectives based on client and company needs. Furthermore, I coordinated events and exhibitions to communicate with potential partners and buyers. With this background, I know how to communicate with clients and businesses and am able to analyze and solve their core problems that satisfy their needs.

How did I get into UX?

Moving forward, I wanted to advance both my marketing and graphic design skills to help solve problems through detail-oriented research for people to use better and more accessible products by emphasizing visual elements. Since I am a person who loves learning and brainstorming creative ideas, I thought becoming a UX designer is a great chance to express my imagination while helping people with a user-friendly design.
